Sydney Overton
I am an electrical engineering PhD student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am interested in developing micro technology for neurotransmitter detection.
About
Sydney received her Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and Bachelor of Arts in physics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in May 2019.
Her previous research focused on in vivo electrical characterization of the blood brain barrier. Her current research focuses on biosensor fabrication and characterization.
When she isn’t researching, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking, scuba diving, and painting.
